Brief Information: 

I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and M.S. degree in Pure Math from University of Illinois at Chicago, both in 2011,
my B.S. in Electronic and Information Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China in 2006. From 2011 - 2017, I held academic positions in various
institutions, including Columbia University, Duke University and The Ohio State University, as well as a Visiting Scholar at University College London, UK.
I am also a Senior Member of IEEE. Since 2017, I have been with HERE as a Principal Data Scientist.

My research interests are in the general areas of machine learning, deep learning, image processing, computer vision, statistical signal processing, information theory and bioinformatics.
